On September 27, 2024, the SEC adopted the final requirements for “EDGAR Next,” introducing significant technical and process changes. This initiative is designed to modernize filing authorization and enhance the security of the EDGAR system, as well as improve filer account access and management. WHEN ## Transition Timeline & Important Dates - **September 30, 2024 – March 21, 2025** #### **Test & Assess** Through **March 21, 2025**, SEC filers should begin testing and updating their internal software and systems. This is a vital stage in the preparation process and allows you and your company to align with the EDGAR Next Adopting Beta environment. Avoid potential disruptions and pitfalls by getting a head start. This helps to ensure a seamless and worry-free transition. - **March 24, 2025** #### New Tools Launch! **On March 24, 2025**, the new EDGAR Filer Management website will be live. This platform features a dashboard where existing filers can easily enroll.
